InnRecovery was founded by Dr. Harold Jonas, LMHC, CAP. Dr. Jonas has worked
tirelessly to help addicts recover for over 25 years. In an early struggle to attain his own recovery nearly 30 years ago, Dr. Jonas attended an NA meeting while on
methadone. He was attracted to the message of hope but was abruptly told to
“come back when you’re in recovery.” Despite mounting evidence that medications
can save lives and are a useful tool for recovery, this sentiment still prevails in
some communities. InnRecovery will provide a safe and judgment free place for
people who require medication to recover.
